Allow Yourself to Imagine...
You wake in a suite overlooking the ocean, sunlight streaming through sheer curtains. Outside your window, the ocean is impossibly turquoise. The kind of blue that makes you believe in magic again.
You slip on something comfortable and walk barefoot down a jungle path toward our yoga platform. The air smells like salt and jungle mist. You can already hear women's laughter mixing with birdsong.
As you arrive, a circle is forming. Not strangers, even though you just met yesterday. Something about this place, these women... it already feels like home.
Someone hands you water. Another woman smiles like she knows you. And suddenly, you remember: This is what it feels like to be held.
You, beautiful soul, are in Mexico... but more importantly, you are finally returning to yourself.
This Journey Is For You If...
You've been holding it together for everyone else and forgot what it feels like to completely fall apart (and be caught).
You crave women who will witness your mess, your magic, and everything in between, without judgment.
You're ready to start 2027 differently. Not with more doing, but with more being.
If any of this lands in your body, this retreat was made for you.
Still wondering? Here’s the thing, most of the women who come to Journey of the Heart are leaders in their field, whatever that may mean for you. Executives, founders, activists, healers, and caretakers who give endlessly to others.
Women who feel called to join us have achieved a lot. And they're tired in a way that no vacation has been able to touch. This retreat was built to create that deep space and rest needed for true restoration.
Why January?
Most people are back at their desks by January 7th, already abandoning their new year intentions. The gym membership sits unused. The vision board collects dust.
But what if instead of rushing back into the grind, you gave yourself space to actually integrate the transition?
This retreat sits in that liminal space between the old year and the new. When you're no longer who you were, but not yet who you're becoming. It's the perfect portal for transformation.
Come to Mexico while the rest of the world rushes back to business as usual. Let everyone else stress about Q1 goals while you're reconnecting to what actually matters: your body, your heart, your truth.

We've been doing this for over a decade. We've seen what works and what doesn't. And here's what we know:
Real transformation doesn't just happen in 60-minute workshops.
It happens in the moments between, when you're sitting with a new friend over breakfast and she shares something that cracks you open. When you're alone in your room journaling and suddenly everything makes sense. When you're floating in the ocean and you remember you're allowed to rest.
We create the container. You do the transforming.

5 nights in your luxury suite: ocean views, private terraces, bathrooms that feel like spas
All gourmet meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, 24/7 room service (and all absolutely delicious)
Unlimited everything: mocktails, cocktails, fresh juices, specialty coffees, smoothies
Daily embodiment practices: yoga, meditation, tapping, energy healing, dancing and more
Transformational workshops: not generic content, but practices you'll use for years
Healing circles & ceremonies, the kind of sharing that changes you
Beach ritual experience, a ceremonial closing you'll remember forever

Pool & beachside service: drinks and snacks delivered while you lounge
Spa discount (20% off), because you deserve that massage

One Last Thing Before You Decide...

The women who come to these retreats aren't the ones who have it all figured out. They're the ones brave enough to admit they don't.
They're the ones who know that January gym memberships won't fix what's actually broken. That another productivity planner won't solve the deeper exhaustion. That you can't self-help-book your way to wholeness.
You need to be held. To be witnessed. To be reminded that you're not alone in this.
That's what we do here.
So if you're reading this and something in your body is saying YES, even if your mind is listing all the reasons you can't, trust that whisper.
We know this is an investment. Of money, yes, but also of time, energy, and courage.
It takes courage to admit you need support. To carve out space when everyone needs you. To spend money on yourself when there are always more important things.
This Is Your Invitation
Start 2027 not by pushing harder, but by coming home to yourself.
By letting women who understand hold space for your becoming.
By giving yourself permission to rest, to heal, to transform.
The version of you that's ready to emerge? She's waiting for you in Mexico.
Will you meet her there?
Pricing
Retreat pricing is based on type of room and occupancy. Rates start at $4,565.

FAQs
What makes Journey of the Heart different from other wellness retreats?
Most retreats pack your schedule. We deliberately leave afternoons open because transformation needs space. The morning practices are led by our team of experienced facilitators, including a bestselling Indigenous medicine woman, an Emmy-nominated storyteller, and an award-winning feminist editor, and the afternoons are yours. The combination of structure and spaciousness is what allows real integration to happen.
I've never done anything like this. Will I fit in?
Yes. The women who come aren't the ones who have it figured out. They're the ones brave enough to admit they don't. No yoga or retreat experience required. No spiritual background necessary. If you’re nervous, reach out to us at hello@artofselfworth.com, we’re always happy to hop on Zoom or the phone to alleviate any concerns.
WHen & Where do i need to arrive/depart?
Travel is so much simpler (and cheaper) than most of our previous retreats! You will fly into the Cancun or Tulum airport. It’s about a 45-minute drive. We can help you connect to airport transfer service or arrange it on your own. Arrive and leave the exact days of the retreat or message us to extend your stay with a resort discount.
1/7: Check-in is 3pm, Optional group dinner and new moon ritual at 6pm
1/12: Check-out is 12pm, but you can enjoy the resort facilities, including meals, until 3pm. Retreat closing circle is the evening of 1/11, so you can leave as early as needed on the 12th. We’ll have group embodiment and breakfast on the 12th for folks able to stay longer.
WHAT are the age ranges of attendees? Who typically attends?
Women from their 20s to 80s, including executives, founders, therapists, artists, and activists. Many come solo. Some are mother/daughter pairs or bring a friend. Almost everyone leaves with friendships and connections that last years.
Do I need to be a woman to join?
This retreat is designed for women. People who are non-binary are welcome to join. Please email us at hello@artofselfworth.com if you have any questions. Trans women are women.
Can I bring my kiddo?
This is an 18+ only retreat. This is restoration and focus on you. We find that having a little one nearby distracts from your experience.
Are there scholarships available?
Money is a very real barrier. We are currently pitching for scholarship sponsorship to have some financial assistance. We also encourage you to fundraise too! We have seen people have great success with GoFundMe or fundraisers to support their personal goal. Let us know if you need help and we will see how we can support you!
How do you fund your scholarships?
We firmly belief that everyone is worthy of self-care and dedicated time to reflect and evolve as a person. As a result, we have self-funded many of our scholarship applicants each year. We also have a scholarship fund that people are always welcome to donate to. While we aren’t a non-profit, all donations go 100% towards a person’s program or retreat. You can donate here if you’d like to support our work.
Do I really need insurance?
We strongly recommend travel insurance with cancellation for any reason. This is a non-refundable retreat. Most “cancel for any reason” policies must be purchased 2o-30 days after initial deposit is made. We have had people cancel due to illness last minute or loss of job. It’s a very real issue. If you have AAA, we recommend checking their rates and offerings, many of our past clients have enjoyed using them.
How do you choose roommates?
If you are in a double, we'll ask you to fill in a pre-retreat survey with sleep habits and overall goals for the retreat. We pair people to the best of our ability based on that and our intuition. We prioritize requests to be with your friend and loved ones.
